The Object of the Master’s Program is Information Systems and in particular the promotion of the scientific knowledge of young scientists, graduates of Higher Educational Institutions, and the promotion of research in the scientific area of Information Systems.
In an era where economic organizations are required to operate in a globalized economy and where technology is rapid and important in the way of organization and operation of every business, the design, implementation and general utilization of modern Information Systems is a decisive factor in obtaining a competitive advantage for businesses.
The purpose of the program is the training and preparation of the specialized executives who are replaced in Information and Communication Technologies and those related to society and businesses who have the ability to analyze, design and use modern Information Systems.
MSc Information Systems is provided by the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Democritus University of Thrace.
